I’m using WP HootSuite Dashboard. When I create a post in my Hootsuite dashboard and add an image to it using Add Media, the image gets resized when published. The URI for the image gets “&q=90&w=648” appended to it. I don’t see the image size set wrong anywhere in WordPress, but once it’s on the site if I go into WordPress, edit the post, go to the image settings, and click “Update” next to the size (which has the correct values already in it), the image goes back to its original size. Not sure if this is a Hootsuite issue or a WordPress issue; has anyone seen this before? Thanks!

If you are talking about Posting to your blog directly from the Hootsuite dashboard – whether you are accessing that through our plugin or directly through the Hootsuite website – that issue will be related to the integrated process of the WordPress.org App in your Hootsuite account.

All our plugin does is enable you to place your dashboard for Hootsuite in your WP dashboard for convenience. It DOES NOT interact with any of the functionality of your Hootsuite account.

Unfortunately, we still haven’t been able to get Hootsuite to cooperate with us to give us developer api access to add any integrated assets to our plugin for functionality, like feed widgets and various displays, like we want to do. If you can get them to open their minds to outside developers offering to help them expand their user base, then please let me know.

We have been trying for nearly a year now.

    Johnny
