Options not showing up when selected

    This is the page I am have troubles with:

    When I choose a scent, “choose an option” doesn’t change to the scent I picked. The image does though. And when you check out, the Scent I selected, shows up. Is there a way to fix this besides upgrading my abundance theme? I have custom coding applied and will lose everything if I upgrade. Or, is there any other way or any other suggestions to do this? Or maybe another plug in that will do variable products, attributes, etc.
