So, I just migrated from blogger yesterday and now all of my posts have an identical, smaller thumbnail image in the body of the post. I need to get rid of it, it looks terrible. Thanks.

I’m not familiar with how posts are created with Blogger or what the results are when you convert from blogger to WordPress, but I’m assuming from having a smaller identical thumbnail you are getting a duplicate. Not sure how much I can help you here, but if you can provide a link to your site where this is occurring, I could take a quick look. Basically there’s two methods to get an image into a post:

    1. featured image insertion
    2. inserting an image directly into the post.

http://cookesfrontier.com is my blog. I’ve looked all over and I cannot find how to disable a featured image. I have to admit, I’m feeling pretty stupid about all of it.

Thanks for the link… I think I know what it is. Try disabling your Pin it plugin and see what happens.

Nothing happened. They were actually like that before I added the plugin.

I’m not sure how to help you with this one. As you mentioned, you migrated from Blogger to WordPress and now you have duplicate images. The small one is actually been put in as a WP Featured Image for your post(s) and the other is inserted into your post. If you changed the theme to the default WP theme, say Twenty Thirteen or Fourteen, do you get the duplicate image?
