What do you mean by “CLOSED” and can you show the website?
well, I mean the menu collapsed, without display all the voices before you click on the arrow…
My site is: http://www.ninasdragqueens.orgHi,
Couldn’t understand the problem of menu collapse.
The menu seems to be working fine.
Hi,
I don’t want to say that it doesn’t work…
I was just asking if you know how to set the menu to be “closed”, “covered”, “collapsed”, I don’t know how to let you understand, I would like to attach a picture but it seems It’s not possible.
I try in another way:
When you visit the home page the menu looks like open:
[LOGO]
PAGE 1 >
PAGE 2
PAGE 3
…
then the arrow ^I would like that when someone visit the home page the menu would look just like this:
[LOGO]
arrow vI hope I explained it better…
thank you
You can link to screenshots; http://snag.gy
Hi Gianlu,
Understood what you are trying to say.
Will get back to you in 1 hour on how to do this.
I put the screenshots here.
This is what I’d like to see in the home page:
http://www.ninasdragqueens.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Menu_closed.png
This is what happens normally if you go to the home page:
http://www.ninasdragqueens.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Menu_open.png(thank you Andrew anyway, troubles with snag.gy …)
Hope now it’s clear!
thank youYes this is possible by the way, how familiar are you with JS?
basic JS knowledge, but the screenshots are there, so, that’s fine…
Try using this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/zia3-css-js/
and add the following JavaScript to its relevant setting:
jQuery(document).ready(function($) { $('#site-nav').hide(function() { this.addClass('.showDown'); }); });
@andrew:
I have no idea in which file I should put that JS…Try using a plugin for this http://wordpress.org/plugins/zia3-css-js/ – look at its “Inline custom JavaScript” setting http://wordpress.org/plugins/zia3-css-js/screenshots/
Hi,
Kindly add the following piece of code in header.php
<script>
jQuery(document).ready( function(){
jQuery(‘#site-nav’).slideUp();
});
</script>This is to be added after <head> tag and before </head>
So within the head tag you can paste this code anywhere in header.php
In case this is too difficult for you you can send us email at support@sktthemes.com with your admin details and we will take care to add this code.
I tried this in the theme>editor and it did not work. Any ideas?
I tried it in my header.php just before the tag </head> and it worked fine, thanks to SKTThemes !
