Unable to upload snoopy files

Hi,

My wordpress is up and running fine except there are 3 files that would not upload with the others. One is the snoopy file which I suspect is causing the following message I keep getting.

Specs:
New Instillation
windows xp
Linux server
MySQL 5.0.51a-community

Files that won’t upload
wp-admin/includes/file.php
wp-admin/includes/misc.php
wp-includes/class-snoopy.php

I have used frontpage to upload like I have for other php programs, and even an ftp program. I think it might be because the online files say they have snoopy, but my computer files says it wont upload because of a security issue. Nothing seems to resolve this conflict.

Is there something particular I need to do with smartftp program to get the correct files to upload? Like download first then upload? I was told that when I used it last time.

Would appreciate any suggestions.
