1) You can disable comments in Settings->Discussion, uncheck “Allow people to post comments on the article”.
2) The “Latest Visitors” sounds like a plugin, you can probably remove that by disabling the plugin.
3) Don’t use WP’s uploader.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the “comments” and also the “latest visitors” from the blog.
I really don’t need those thumbnail pics – they are sooooo annoying.
Would appreciate the help.
