Very Shady – Never received the Pro version I paid for

I tried the free version of this plugin to see if it would suit my needs and it did. I went to their website to purchase the Pro version. I made the purchase within the first week of February. By the end of February got a little nervous that I hadn’t received it– no download links or attachments via email.

I opened a ticket through their website and by mid-March was informed that I would have to provide them with my WordPress site login page and credentials in order for THEM to install the plugin. Not once during the checkout process did they mention that method of delivery. I declined and asked again for a download link or email attachment. I didn’t feel comfortable giving a stranger complete access to my site. Once again I asked them to provide me a download link or email attachment.

It’s poor security practice to give a stranger full access to your site. This company should know this and should deliver their product in another manner. Or at the very least make it clear prior to checkout that they require such sensitive information for delivery. I would never have completed the purchase if I had known.
