Hi. I’ve been using your plugin for a real long time. Expecially the ability to set cells, columns and rows background colors. I don’t seem to see this capability in the latest when using WP 3.9. Am I missing a setting I need to set somewhere?

    Thanks.

  • Same here! I manage a large multisite network running on WP 3.9.1 and all of our users are missing the ability to specify border colors and background colors. I really hope these options will be restored in the future update to this plugin.

    Please restore color capabilities 🙂

Ditto! Please 1) restore the ability to edit/set classes and styles to tables, rows and cells, and set alternating row classes with a single click; and 2) put all the buttons back in a separate third row for better access. Really missing the former functionality before WP 3.9!
    Thank you!

To be a bit more clear here: Tiny MCE 4.0’s table controls dropped background color support for cells. If they add it back, we’ll add it back. :-\

How long it will take. Really, it is becoming pathetic with each and every new version of Word Press introduced. Some thing or the other always missing when the release is upgraded. As users we upgrade to the new release without knowing the shortcomings. We are also not in a position to restore the older version of Word Press with which we used to work.

Word press should stop upgrading the releasing without checking these points or should give capability for users to roll back to earlier release. Pl help us get the row color changing capability at the earliest.

Newer builds of TinyMCE restored support; WordPress 4.0 (due in matter of weeks) includes the newer TinyMCE builds, and the plugin has been updated accordingly. When you upgrade to WP4.0, you’ll have this feature back. 🙂
