Very fat, lots of ads, whines about site not working correctly.

    They wanted me to give them a review as soon as I installed it. Ok.

    This could be a great plugin, I don’t know. As soon as I installed this plugin it was displaying a line telling me that javascript/jquery wasn’t working correctly with a link telling me the problem was simple to solve…

    Turns out they want me to shut down the site and spend 2 hours debugging the problem (they provide step by step instructions, so helpful!) Problem is theirs — this site works fine without them. Client laughed when I asked if they wanted to pay for debugging 3rd party software that had just been installed….

    Other issue is that the admin page is COVERED with ads for all kinds of stuff that I should be excited about, Right? Nah.

    On deinstallation I saw the longest list of files I have ever seen in a plugin, seriously…

    The message displayed is “Like UpdraftPlus and can spare one minute? Please help UpdraftPlus by giving a positive review at wordpress.org”.

    That’s not wanting you to “review as soon as I installed”! There’s a link on the settings page too for the support forum for if you have problems – http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/updraftplus – and we’re always responsive there.
