    Hi There,

    I’m wondering if you can help me with an issue we’re having with uploading a file.

    We have an upload limit of 2mb on our website. We have a type=file field in our custom post type, and the issue is, if a user tries to upload a file by clicking on the “Browse” button and grabbing it from their computer, if the file size is larger than the 2mb limit, an error is being saved in the database for the file and a white box will appear as the image.

    Then the image can’t be deleted and we just get stuck with this issue where we can’t remove the file, and it also doesn’t tell us that there’s a problem….

    Has anyone else experienced this issue? Ideally it would be great if an error was returned saying the file is too big.

    The settings for my file field are:
    [Banner Image]
    type = file
    size = 50
    mediaLibrary = true

    Thanks very much!

  • I was having this same issue, then it just stopped letting me upload new images files altogether. Did you ever find a solution?

    Nope… no one has responded yet and I haven’t found a solution… Looking for a new plugin that will help…
