Not sure if this is a tinymce problem or a bug in 3.9 maybe.

After updating a post, random seeming spaces are removed from texts in the posts. In a text with around 100 words around 5 or 6 spaces were missing after updating which removed any breaks and made it appear like one big wall of a text and some of the words werewrittentogetherlikethesenow.

Did not have the problem before the 3.9 and the tinymce 4.0 update (am on 4.01 now)

This happens only after updating.

Looks like line breaks were removed but <p> tags were not inserted… Clear the browser cache and see if that continues. If not fixed, check the browser console for errors.

Heh, marking your goo old “Stop removing the <p> and
tags when saving and show them in the Text editor ” option solved it 🙂

I tried going back to tinymce 3.9 but that one does not work 100% with wp 3.9 anymore (as you most likely know) and had that option not marked anymore 🙂

Sorry if i am a bit annoying here but your latest update of tinymce is quite troublesome for me since the image and table options are a often used and important part of my website

Yeah, that would fix it too. Better check if there are any JS errors in the browser console. Looks like something is preventing the “pre_wpautop” cleanup on saving a post.
