I was wondering if there was a way or hack to display 'similar posts' based solely on how many categories it matches? Most of my posts are categorized in 4 or 5 categories. Is there a way so that in the single page of a post it could display 'related posts' or 'similar posts' of other posts that match the same categories? Obviously it would display posts that have the most categories matched first.

Posted 1 year ago #I would recommend using my Yet Another Related Posts Plugin for this. It uses a unique algorithm to give relevant results by creating a "score" for each post, and you can use the number of shared categories as one of the components of this "score". Give it a try. :)
