@donalconlon “Images per page” in general gallery settings sets number for all galleries, while for a single gallery you can find the same setting on a post/page basis via ATP button.
I’ve just tested both and it works, WordPress and NextGEN last versions, so if you have tried that and doesn’t work, first you should try clearing cache.
If nothing happens, you should start the standard troubleshooting, deactivating all plugins but NGG and activate a WordPress default theme.
Thanks @tizz. I can see it in the ATP. I cannot see the short code that the ATP generates though (i guess it’s hidden). If I am using a short code, what is that parameter?
@donalconlon Why do you need a shortcode in a post/page, if you can set what you want in the options?
ATP function doesn’t generate shortcodes, you have to put it manually if you want them.
Shortcodes are good when you can’t use the new functionality, as in templates or widgets.
In old NextGEN the parameter was “images=x”, but I don’t know if it works in a new standard shortcode, you can try anyway.
I also would like to have a full list or at least the site updated to show them like it states. I’ve had a question on here for awhile now and it has gone unanswered. The ATP doesn’t allow everything that a shortcode is able to do. Here is a link to my question.

@nppbc You’re absolutely right that the ATP doesn’t allow everything, but mine was the answer to the OP question.
You are writing in someone else’s topic to reiterate your own problem, totally different from that of the OP.
@tizz You are correct until the end. While my problem is different, I would still like to see a list of short codes which is what the OP asked for in the beginning.
The “images=n” parameter din’t work for me. Yea @nppbc, it’d be great if the web site actually listed all the short code options.
