Ver. 3.0.0 wont update

    Am I the only one having this issue? Websites are showing the Askismet update, yet that update won’t auto update? On multiple sites, I’ve checked that, clicked “update plugins” and I’m right back to the dashboard with that update still showing as pending.

    Same. I just tried several times. Not happening. The other plugin I have that was due for an Update did so without incident.

    3.0.0 was released just a few minutes ago, and it can take a little bit for the files to get pushed out to all of the necessary servers. Give it another try in an hour or so and let me know if it’s still not working.

    Thanks Christoper – you were spot on. A couple of hours later and it updated three times without any hitch. I’m making this thread as resolved.

    I can not fornd where to hard code the API code for multisites in version 3 of askimet

    define(‘wpcom_api_key’, ‘apikey’);

    used to be in askimet.php

    where is it now?

    defining it in wp-config.php does not work

    anyone?

    found it !
    add the hard code api key to
    /wp-includes/ms-default-constants.php
