"Jetpack_ID error" possible simple fix

I’ve never been able to use Jetpack. With every version update (my await spanning months), I hope it would resolve the persistent error I get every single time after activating it: “jetpack_id Error Details: Jetpack ID is empty. Do not publicly post this error message!”.

And I was not alone. Some got the problem fixed by updating it to the then newer or beta release. It never worked for me.

The only thing I never did was to download and upload the plugin manually. Every time I tried to install, it was always from the auto-install Add plugin -> Search feature. So, for one last time I tried doing it the hard way—and I’m now happy to announce I’m enjoying all the cool features Jetpack has to offer. 🙂
