I seem to have a problem with my WP install (was 1.2.1, now 1.2.2) and comments: they don't appear in the database nor (obviously) on the site, but I do get email notifications.
It's php 4.3.10, running on freebsd: I suspect something bad happened when I upgraded ports sometime in the past couple of days. Any ideas what to look for? I'm going to see if those upgrades went as expected.
Also, I was using turck-mmcache but stopped when an upgrade failed: I replaced it with pear-apc. Could that be part of the problem?

Posted 4 years ago #I thought I had tested this already, but it seem WP-Blacklist is the issue. If I take that out of the loop and bounce apache, comments go through. I'm not sure if the blacklist is somehow too tight or if the plugin itself is doing it.
