After its self update to 3.8.3, I can’t get on admin panel.

It shows something like “Nothing to update, your wordpress database format is already up-do-date” on /wp-admin/upgrade.php when I tried to access /wp-admin.
I clicked the “continue” button on that page, it redirected me to the home page, so I tried to access /wp-admin again, it gives me the same page….and so on.

    What to do?

Same problem… it worked great 12 hours ago, but it keeps sending me around in circles after the update!

    Ditto.

I can get into other installs but not my primary one. Although it seems to work fine from the outside (you can navigate posts, leave comments) I can’t get into the dashboard since the install. Help!

    Hey Guys –

For what it’s worth I found this “fix” on an old post with the same issue:
“YAY! I resolved my problem. After doing everything I mentioned in my previous posts I noticed that in my /wp-content/ directory I still had 2 old files associated with caching; advanced-cache.php and wp-cache-config.php. I removed them both, and now everything is working just fine.”

So I FTP into my account, deleted these cache files and voila. Now I can log in. I’m a technical noob so I have no idea why but it worked for me. Worth a try!

Hi guys, I don’t know if you’re aware of this but we track unanswered threads here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/no-replies , that way you don’t have to rely on your thread being on the front page of the forum.
If you reply to someone’s thread you remove them from that list, which dramatically decreases the chances of the thread being viewed when it runs off the first page.

We therefore encourage people to create their own threads to discuss their own issue.

    Thanks troublesometots.

    It seems like caching problem.
Removing object-cache.php(memcached redux) from my wp-content solves the problem, so I updated it to the lastest version, now it works.
