With the new ownership and daily updates to the plugin, today I finally had to find a replacement plugin. I was getting disc-overage warning from my host……one site has over 20gigs allocated to iThemes folder.

I agree. I’ve begun dumping this disaster. What alternative have you gone to? I’ve begun using Wordfence on a few sites, although it seems to be a bit of a resource hog. Granted, that’s better than what this mess has turned into.

I ended up migrating over to BruteProtect…..much lighter weight which makes me suspicious of it’s capabilities but so far so good.

@ vegastriguy: Thanks for the nod to BruteProtect. Will have to check it out. I like what Wordfence does, just monitoring my CPU usage on shared hosting sites; not about to move them to the one VPS I reserve for ecommerce sites. This will be worth investigating. Just too bad that BWPS tubed like this; I was so pleased with it a year or so ago that I installed it on many sites and did the paypal support as well.
