How to transfer ebooks from the ftp file to website

    I was wondering if anyone could explain how to transfer a eBooks from a ftp file to the website. I uploaded the eBooks from my pc to the database and put them in a new folder called eBooks. Now I want to transfer them to my website but not sure how to do this.

    How did you upload ebook files to the database? Have you added them to your media library?

    I used the file up loader in the database and just put them in a new file folder. Not sure where to find the media library.

    I just want to be clear, you accessed php myadmin and uploaded your files that way?

    Now that I go back and look ,I used the file manager to upload the files.

    So just create a new page or post, select ‘Add Media’ and select your e-book, then insert.

    yes I tried to do that but the ebooks were not there

    If you go to ‘Media Library > Add New’ upload the ebooks, are they not in the media library?

    It’s possible ebook formats (.epub etc) are not supported by WordPress, but I am not 100% sure.

    Oh I see what your talking about now. I was trying to load them from my hosting files.Thanks I think I have it now.Thanks for your help.
