With the 3.8.2 upgrade, I’m having issues with being logged in. I log in, but have to use the wp-login.php address. I cannot log in using the link on the site.

Once logged in successfully, I can see the admin panel. Clicking ‘view site’ within the admin panel directs me to the home page of the site, but it doesn’t show that I’m logged in. I can’t see the gray admin bar up at the top for administrators.

This has happened before but I don’t remember the fix.

Actually, it’s only the home page that doesn’t show I’m logged in. If I navigate away the admin panel bar shows up, and so does the restricted areas in the menu items.

May I have your site url please?

Kindly go to users > my profile and select “Show Toolbar when viewing site” and save.

It is. And it’s only NOT displaying on the home page. I have a membership plugin that hides certain areas of the site when a user is not logged in. I do not see these or the tool bar on the home page, but if I navigate away I can see everything.

Then, it might be the case that plugin have blocked it.

No, otherwise I wouldn’t see it on the interior pages. The home page is NOT protected to members only.
