As far as I can tell, there is no way to have the ‘Events page’ display events that span multiple days on the calendar view. With the shortcode we can use [eme_calendar full=true long_events=1] but then the links don’t function. Should there be a checkbox for this on the ‘Events page’ tab of the settings?

Which links don’t work? The calendar event links? Or the previous/next month links? In my tests both work as expected.

When using the shortcode, the calendar event links don’t work for me. The urls change but they all pull up the same content as the calendar page (just the big calendar). Could it be a permalink issue?

Does your EME setting “events page” point to a valid page?

Also, try resetting your SEO rules to standard and then setting them back, might also help.

Just looked at the link, thanks. This plugin has been on a the client’s site for a while so I didn’t think to look there. So the right way to go about this, as it’s built, is to use the shortcode if you want specific functionality and then to have a ‘dummy’ page that will be used to render the individual events when set as the ‘Event page’.

    Thanks for the quick response.
