Hi there, you should be able to click on "view your profile"
    and then click on edit.
you need to enter the password twice, then click on update profile.
    should work.

I got the same problem here. Mike, how could we "click on edit" when it says "User not found". It means we go to a blank page, which usually shows only the bbpress logo. And the title of the page says "bbPress>Error"

Hi again, I'm afraid I'm not sure. I know profiles were not available over the weekend, thought it was a tech problem. Hopefully a moderator wil pick up on this.
normally its not a problem getting into profile.
hope its resolved soon for you.
    mike.

the profiles are being worked on -- if you see a "user not found" message than thats what you see for now.

Y'all know a nice notice on the registration page would take very little time and make for new users not getting ticked off and leaving right away...

That being said, given the age of this topic the fact it's not back up yet is a bit absurd but still your perogative. So the follow up is how do I go about deleting my account now? I have no interest in keeping an account on a site with security problems that still haven't been fixed. It also calls into question the ability of this community to actually fix security issues in WP itself... While I like WP these concerns do have me strongly rethinking the use of what is being shown as a PROBABLE security risk.

continuing to have same problem... starting to agree with RageBanken. Not a great initial impression of WP security or responsiveness. Is this seriously the best out there for blogging software? I can't believe it's so kloogy.

Ditto. I did register a second account and same effect. Hopefully it will get resolved soon, this doesn't really reflect well on WP, I sincerely hope some would-be users do not get the wrong idea.
