Send emails for pending bookings

    Hi,
    Is there a way to get automated emails sent out to a list of users (NOT the event owner necessarily) on an unconfirmed event booking.
    At the moment, I can send out to an arbitrary list, but only on event confirmation.
    Basically, we need to collect more info and payment for the booking before confirming it, but don’t want to have to check the site for new pending bookings…

    Hi,

    I’m not 100% sure what it is you want to do. Am I right in thinking you want to send a follow-up email to users who are pending for a particular event? Thanks.

    Hi,
    Sorry I probably didn’t explain myself too well.
    In the email settings there is a place to put a custom list of emails to receive notifications of confirmed bookings. I’d like these emails to be sent even if the booking hasn’t been confirmed, ie while it’s still pending confirmation.
    There is the other option below this field in the settings which will email the event owner with pending bookings, but basically I’d like to get a mix of both of these options.
    Does that make sense?

    Ok, that would need quite a bit of custom coding. Basically, you’d need to create a new admin panel and a new email function to make it work.

    ah ok, no worries. thought there might be a function or a hook I could use.
    Never mind, it’s not that urgent, so may look into coding something in due course.
