Manual Related Posts widget help

Hello.

My question is in regard to the Manual Related Posts plugin. I know that I should ideally post to their specific forum but the developer + moderators are not responsive on that forum.

The first question is: How can I edit the related posts’ character limit? Currently the post title gets cut off and it is not ideal. There is no option for it in the plugin’s settings.

The second question is: How can I edit the padding space between the bottom of the plugin and the previous post navigation below? Currently, they appear sort of mushed together and I’d like there to be more space between them.
