Nice. Luckily I just installed Slimstat for the first time only a couple of days before this happened. I really feel sorry for others that lost huge amounts of data, or have no idea what is about to happen when they press the update button.

Please contact us at http://support.getused.to.it/ to figure this out 😉 I’m pretty sure the data is still there, just not being displayed for some reason.

OK. I will not have access to my computer for a while, but I see another thread with the same issue was opened at the same time, so I will check it later for a resolution.

It looks like the issue is related to the DB version. What version of mysql do you have?

    MySQL version 14.14 Dist 5.5.32

Do you have access to the log of the sql queries executed when you updated to version 3.5.9? Or to your mysql error log?

I am not sure how much the hosting company gives me in the way of permissions on the hosted server, but I do have command line access, which gives me more flexibility than cpanel does. I only had one Slimstat entry, so personally I don’t care if I restore it or not, but if it will help others. If you give me the command you want me to run, log file name (and its file system location) you want to see, etc., I can give it a try. Can I email you that information?

A little more information. Although the old site visit is gone (or just not visible), the database has since received a new entry from a user visiting the site, so the new version is at least working.
