Divs automatically close?

Hello,

Is there an inbuilt WordPress function that automatically closes open <div> tags without warning? I tried creating my own custom form layout in Fast Secure Contact Form by inserting my own <div> and </div> tags before and after strategic form fields. The problem is that my open divs get closed automatically by something, therefore my later closed divs are rendered useless. I don’t know if this is the plugin, or if it’s a built in WordPress function that can be turned off. (Similar to autop.)

Anyone? (I tried posting this in the Fast Secure Contact Form area, but I got zero replies as of yet.)
