I would like to have existing text on the home page turned into a link so that users can click it and go to another page; it should be easy but I can’t actually find the text in the backend at all! I guess it is somewhere in main.css that it gets the formatting from, but I don’t know where the content is (I can’t find it in main.css). Maybe someone could have a little look at it for me and tell me where it is?
Website is http://airquippipetool.com.au and at the moment the two images there go to the pages, but users are more inclined to click the text below the images instead of the images, so I would like them to link to the same place.

Comments on design/content are welcome too!!

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

We’re using a child theme based on twenty eleven, called “airquip.” The web developer set it up for us (mostly) but has since closed down.

    Hello Esmi,
After 2 months there should normally have been some sort of response, because I would like to mark this one off as resolved. Can you please re-check and see if you have filed an answer away somewhere?

You are using a theme called minileven. I don’t see any images at the url above.

The text will be on a page or a in a post. In the dashboard you should be able to edit pages or posts. Highlight the words you want linked, click on the link button and add the url. Save.

    Thanks for your reply Kmessinger:
You can’t see the images because of another issue I have with the site. See here for details.
I found the words I want linked: They are part of the “Splash Page Template” or “Splash.php.”
So what do I put into that page to make the text a link? would it be TEXT TO SHOW ??

    That didn’t work!! Would it be <a href="TARGET_URL">TEXT TO SHOW</a> ??
    Forgot the backticks!!
