Currently you can only watermark images. You can upload watermark images that can be created by a program like photoshop, and should be of type png-24 ( png-8 will not work ), and having the extension .png

Textual watermarks will be available in 5.2.3, likely to be released this week.

I will ad a ‘watermark all’ action in a later version ( maybe in 5.2.3 )

I installed your plugin last week and spent many hours with it. Gotta say I really like it. The only request I would like to add is the ability to remove the watermark if need to.
I notice the warning that it cannot be removed once applied. Is there a reason that the water mark can’t be removed?
Is there work around for this feature? or something I can do on my end.

Thanks and again WPPA+ is a great plugin. Still messing with all the features.

The watermark is integrated into the photo, i.e. the pixels in the photofile itsself are modified. This is to prevent users to copy-paste the image and use it for purposes you do not want.

If you want to remove watermarks, the only way is to activate the ‘save source files’ options in Table IX-H. Then you can ‘Remake files’ when the watermark settings are changed/turned off.

The ‘save source’ should be ON before uploading! If not, you can recover from this situation by ftp’ing your photos to the server again, into your ‘depot’ diectory ( See the Import Photos screen to find out where that is ), and import them with the ‘Update photos’ checkbox on.
