pridedepotI would like to display a fixed number of my blog post titles with permalinks on a portion of a WP “Page” that I will be using as my website’s home page. The blog will not be the home page.
Additionally I would like to do this in a separated area as well with several other external feeds not on my webiste.
Ideally I would like to place these list of most recent “headlines” in two separate tables, simulating the look of the Xoops block structure.
I have looked at a number of options and honestly I am lost. Many of the plug-ins I have tried are Widgets and I can not get them to display on a page. I have tried the FeedList plug-in but I am not getting how it is supposed to be displayed. If I paste in the PHP code the code shows on the page and not the data it is supposed to retrieve.
I would REALLY appreciate some help with this. I am trying to migrate my entier site from Xoops to WordPress and keep as many features as possible. This being one of the more important ones.
