    Hello.

I’ve been using your plugin to backup a couple of my sites and think it’s pretty solid. I noticed on one of my sites, after I select “Rackspace Cloud Files”, I’m not getting the “Cloud Files Storage Region” selector, therefore the connection doesn’t work. The only difference, I think, with this site and others is the website is not hosted on a Rackspace server.

    Can you please help?

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hi,

UD includes two versions of the Rackspace SDK. The old SDK does not support regions. The new SDK does. The new SDK, however, requires PHP 5.3 or later. So you need to ask your web hosting company to activate PHP 5.3 (or later) on that server. (PHP 5.2 was End-Of-Lifed in the year 2010!).

    Best wishes,
    David

P.S. Not having the region selector shouldn’t stop it working, though. RackSpace have a default region – or at least, they did when I last tested the old SDK about 2 months ago (otherwise including the old SDK for PHP 5.2 users would be pointless).
