There’s a setting from one plugin (Types) that Polylang has on strings translations which purpose is only to be used at new/edit post screen at backend.

I have my backend also multilingue using WP Native Dashboard plugin and of course that new/edit post screen changes according the language.

This particular setting from Types plugin is a field validation error message that shows when users input for example text in a numeric field or leave blank a required field.

This meesage is handled by an Ajax function belonging to Types plugin, as the user types the wrong data the message pops up.

Despite Polylang has it as a translatable string, it never gets translated because it is only used at backend.

Can Polylang filter this one to make it translatable?

For me there is a bug in Types as I have the same problem with a localized WP and Polylang inactive.

I thought Polylang didn’t operate at backend but only at frontend.

It operates on backend too. You can choose the admin language in user profile.
