    I get the following error message when I try to activate PlugNedit.

    Warning: copy(../pnehtml/demo_page.htm): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/plugnedit/pneconfig.php on line 5 Warning: fopen(/var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/plugnedit/pneconfig.txt): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/plugnedit/pneconfig.php on line 44 Cannot open file PNE Config

    This has happened before and I didn’t pursue. This time it occured when updating to v4.4.5.

    Thanks… Tom.

    Thanks for the reply John.

    I am running the site locally. I am running WP 3.8.1 using lighttpd and php5 on a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server.

    Initially, I had set up the site on a Raspberry Pi using Debian. I believe it was the same version of WP. I was able to install PlugNedit on that site and it worked.

    The site is brutus.dalnet.ca/wordpress

    Hi, i have also the same problem after updating the plugin.

    http://stevenspyrka.de/wordpress/wp-admin/

    It is the latest debian with plesk/apache.
    How can i fix that?

    You can send this query to the mysql wordpress database to deactivate all plugins… then login to the admin page and enable all except plugnedit

    UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = ‘a:0:{}’ WHERE option_name = ‘active_plugins’;
