Peter, love this plug in, it’s a life saver!

I’d be great if you could write anchors into the plugin’s link UI. Currently the plugin seems to overwrite (TinyMCE’s? MCE’s?) anchor-making ability (although anchors made with this plugin disabled remain in the page and they do function when linked to).

    Hi Bart,
I am glad my plugin helps you. And thanks for the issue, I’ll check if I could fix it in the next release.

Hi Peter. Thanks for your attention on and to this. But…and excuse my non-programmatic denseness…I still don’t see anchors listed in the syntax editor’s UI. Without the plugin, when I bring up the links dialog, if I’ve previously created an anchor on the page, the UI adds an anchors label and dropdown in the dialog to facilitate linking to. I still don’t see that in the link dialog that the syntax plugin displays.

Of course, I’ve just observed the syntax for anchor: the # symbol plus the anchor name. So that’s easy to type in the link field assuming I remember the next time I need to make and link to one.

Am I missing something? Or could this be a Safari v5x under Mac 10.6.8 issue? (I’m behind the OS times…)

Hi Bart. Are you using any special plugins for this kind of links?
In the updated version of the plugin (1.4.8) the links dialog works exactly the same as in the native html/text editor.
