    Here is my situation I need to come up with some sort of solution quickly. I am supporting a website for my client. Yesterday I updated The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets with the latest version 3.5 | By Modern Tribe, Inc. and what I discovered that all created tickets just disappeared and I cannot get any access to them. Now system says that updated “The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets” plugin cannot work without having WooCommerce updated up to the latest version. Currently WooCommerce has 2.0.20 version and system says “To begin using WooTickets, please install the latest version of WooCommerce” (2.1.6), which means I need to upgrade it to 2.1.6 version that apparently doesn’t work with the current version of word-press 3.6.1. The only solution I see now is trying to update my wordpress up to the current version and then to update my WooCommerce hoping that it would resolve the issue. I appreciate if anyone can offer a different solution.

  • WooCommerce version 2.1 up to 2.1.6 requires WordPress 3.8 – it is not backward compatible with any version prior to WP 3.8 and as we are just weeks away from the release of WordPress 3.9 – delaying upgrading will only make things harder – hope that helps you.

    No worries, I understand this fully. I inherited this website from the previous master, who left it in a big mess. Now I am trying to sort things out, that’s all. I’ve done all the updates today and it seems everything went out without problems as far I see. Thank you for your response.
