Just a follow-up on my question above.

I’m basically looking for a simple text display in the side column that look a bit like this.

    Title
    date
    description

The Date boxes look great on the main page display but don’t really suite the side column as they are too big for my needs.

OK. When all css is removed from the style sheet in event-list/includes/css folder the date fields in the widget still display underneath each other. e.g

    Thu
    17
    Apr
    2014

I’d like the date in the widget to be displayed on one line if possible.

How do I go about this please?

There is no option included to change the date styling yet, but this is planned for a future release.

The elements are displayed in seperate divs, so it should be possible to rearrange the items with the correct css styles.
Additionally to removing all styles in event-list.css you would have to set the corrent floating for the date elements. But I cannot give you a final solution, I would have to try it also.

    Thanks Mibuthu,
It would be great when you can do this as the plugin is so useful.
I will keep an eye on your future posts.

    Thanks
