"Dead" sites …what to do

Hi,

I’ve changed the permalinks on some of my sites, to optimize the search word.

That creates a “dead” site that floats around on google, when you click on that. You get a “cannot find site”.

How do I redirect those pages. I’m pretty sure that I’ve stumbled across this setting
