   Hello,

   Just got bluehost and installed the new 2.5 version. I successfully transferred my blog from Typepad to WP using the great import tool they have, but not sure if it was that or my theme, but none of the images are showing up except header and html images. Please help!!

   Your images still have their old Typepad URLs.

   Replace the old base URL path to the images with the new one. You can do this for everything at one time using the Search & Replace plugin (warning, there's no undo so be very sure of what you're doing).

   My images dont show up either , I havent transfered my blog or anything , I mean the themes images don`t show up , header , side bar images , RSS buttons and such stuff..Anyone can help? I have been trying to change my WP Theme..

   Come on guys anyone can explain why images don`t show up ? Every theme I upload the images are broken / not showing at all / different colors , what happened ? Anybody can tell me ? I even upgraded WP to 2.5 and still does the same thing !

   Seems to be showing up when I just tried broalex, AND I can tell you just switched themes.

   hotkee try one more time .. the classic theme works but none of the others. They just show up without any images , only text.

   iridiax, I just imported by typepad posts into wordpress. Oddly, the photos show up on the edit page, but even when I re-save, they don't show up on the blog. They do have the old typepad urls. Like:

   <img class="at-xid-6a00d83451b8b869e20105365adca1970b" style="margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;" title="IMG_5449" src="http://abroadincostarica.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b8b869e20105365adca1970b-320pi" alt="IMG_5449" />

   Jeez. I can do the search and replace - I'll do it on the text file and re-upload. But... what is the new url? I can just replace the old url and this will upload the photo to wordpress?

   Thanks for your help.

    Typepad apparently does not make it easy to transfer away from them. If your blog with them has been deleted or if they are using hotlink protection or some sort of special image serving (their image names and URLs are unusual), then your typepad images may not display on your new site.
