Can we hide the download form after submission?

I am using the option ‘both’ to show the inline link and send an email link after the form has been submitted, and this is all working fine.
However I think it’s a bit confusing that, after submission, the download link is displaid as well as the download form. I would like to replace the download form with the thank you message, so it’s really clear what they need to click next.
Is this possible?
