• I want to use WordPress to add onto a site that I am building with Dreamweaver CS3. The site already has a ‘header’ and other content; I just want to make it easier to post daily news/comments without having to actually go in and edit the html.

I want it really basic (but attractive), allowing anyone that views the site to comment on each post.

For some reason I am finding this way too hard and I am very frustrated. I downloaded WordPress through my web host, but I don;t even know if I did it right.

Here are some examples of what I want to use it for (I like these):
    http://www.nolimitmma.com
    http://www.mmamania.com

Can someone please point me in the right direction so I can figure out how to do something like this. I am going to pull all of my hair out in the meantime. Thanks!

Just to clarify: I am trying to use it as just a small part of the site, I dont want my entire page to be the WordPress blog.

^^See how they have the blog in the middle with plenty of room for other content…

I’m sorry for your frustration! But I understand it.

I’d suggest a Google search for “integrating wordpress into site.”

I integrated WordPress into my site: http://www.gowebguide.com. Both were php sites. I wouldn’t know how to start with your ASP sites. Your sites were VERY nice BTW.

    Good Luck!

Have you thought about finding a template similar (in color and style)to your site? Then simply putting a link from your site to WordPress? I see this method used very often.
