That is quite strange, it may be that the database user you used to connect to the database doesn’t have enough privileges to create the tables.

same problem here. Have tried several times, duplicator creates no tables in the database and all files and folders in the zip are not packaged up. All files and folders are there if you pack up the zip manually, but not otherwise. The user in phpmyadmin has correct permissions.
I’m using version 0.5.2 and the latest version of wp
    Truly a mystery

    Hey guys,

You can double check that the installer-data.sql file is present. This file is extracted and renamed from the package.zip file (originally named database.sql). Take that file and see if you can run it manually through phpmyadmin. If so there may be a permission issue possibly reading the file. You may check the group owner and file permissions on the installer-data.sql file as well…

    My problem is solved
If there are more people who have the same problem then check if you have a plugin installed (Broken link checker)
I uninstalled it and then everything worked as it should again. My experience is that every time there’s been trouble with Duplicator so is there another plugin that caused it.

Thanks for the update Mr. Charlie, I’ll see why that plugin might be causing issues…
