I installed the latest version and noticed two fundamental problems with the meta descriptions. My H1 bleeds right into the first word of my paragraph with no space also when it encounted a link in my text it shows this code:

    & lt; a href=http://www.” /

where the htm was <a href=”http://www.

Are there older versions that do not have these bugs? Thanks

    Hello,

I’ll need some more details about this report.

    1) If the post body starts with an H1 tag, the H1 is stripped in the auto-generated description, but the H1 content remains in tact. The only case I can see as problematic is if the post body starts with:

<h1>My Title</h1>This is the first paragraph of the post.

    which becomes:

My TitleThis is the first paragraph of the post.

Resolution: Start the 1st sentence of the post in a new line, which is a more correct way to write the content. Eg:

    <h1>My Title</h1>
This is the first paragraph of the post.

I don’t see any bugs here. Please be more specific so I can reproduce the error.

    2) I could not reproduce the problem with the URL. a HTML tags are stripped from the auto-generated description like it happens with all HTML tags. Plain URLs remain in tact.

I could not reproduce the problem. I’ll need more details and sample content.

Since I could not reproduce any of the reported problems I am marking the topic as resolved, until I receive more feedback.

    Thanks in advance.
