Run upgrade.php from your wp-admin directory rather than install.php

Have you edited the wp-config.php file yet? I'm not sure that's required if you use wp-admin/import-b2.php or not...

@antifuse and at Cine: The wp-config-sample.php is compeltely new in 1.0 and later. Please use the new version by changing your database variables in that file and then renaming it to wp-config.php Also, please make sure your database prefix is the same as your old b2 prefix if you are upgrading the old database to the new one.
    Peace
