Simple Links Admin Menu is not displayed

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, the Simple Links menu is no longer displayed in the admin menu.
    Instead, the Wordpres “Link” menu is displayed.
    In Admin “+New” menu the entry “link” appears two times.
    The “Replace Link Widgets” entry in the settings is not displayed.
    I use WordPress 3.8.1 and Theme Twenty Fourteen…

    Hi Olaf01,

    I believe the setting you are looking for is “Remove WordPress Built in Links”. The Replace Link Widgets option was removed a couple versions ago due to the WP Links Manger being deprecated for more than a year.

    The single “Remove WordPress Built in Links” option will now remove all traces of the links manager.

    I have just release a new version which has an updated help section and no longer is misleading.
