  • is your .htaccess writeable and have the changes been written to it?

    ryanduff — the .htaccess is irrelevant, it’s up to WP to generate the links. So even if the .htaccess was “correct” WP isn’t going to match. This has been the point of discussion for as long as I can remember, which is to say only the last 6 months or so. At this time it is not possible. Unless things have changed in 1.3, but I haven’t heard. The reason for this is to differenciate between a redirect and an actual directory on the site. The category/ bit is a signal that a category follows.
