Feature Request: Insert Multiple Rows into existing table

    Hello Tobias,

    Firstly, thank you for developing such and amazing plugin, you’re a credit to the WordPress community.

    I was wondering whether I might be able to make a ‘feature request’ for later releases?

    It would be really handy if *multiple* rows could be inserted into existing tables WITHIN the current dataset.

    Often I find myself having to insert 20 rows in the middle of a table, currently I can only insert 1. If I try to insert more (by checking the row boxes and adding X Rows), additional rows do get inserted by they are inserted sporadically within the data and not as a ‘block’ of additional empty rows like you would experience with MS Excel.

    Would this be something that could be implemented or is it too hard? I can’t help but feel that I can’t be the only person needing this feature…?

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, feature requests are always welcome, so thanks for that!

    For the case of inserting multiple rows at once, I’m however unsure about the approach of having another input field for the number of rows. This can make the user interface more confusing.
    I’d therefore like to suggest a workaround using existing features: A hidden (but very nice) feature is to keep the “Shift” key pressed while inserting rows or columns. When doing that, the checkbox remains selected, so that you can immediately click the “Insert” button again.
    Would that work for your use case?
