Is there anyway of retrieving a backup copy of this post? I did not delete it.

I no longer have the email copy that was sent out to subscribers. I can’t reconstruct this post as it is a review of the opening night of an opera, and I need the link.
I would appreciate any help or advice.

Did you look in the database?

I just did a regular search. I don’t know how to search the database.

First make sure you have a backup of the database. Sign in to your host and your control panel should have MySQL or someway to see the database. Once you have your database open look for the table “posts”. Look for post content, check that and click on browse. To see the entire content of a post, select the post and click on edit.

That is a summary of the way I can get to my posts. Yours may not be exact but something in the neighborhood. You can also ask your host for assistance.

BTW, what do the tags you listed here have to do with your problem? Just curious as I have never seen people listed as tags.

I was beginning my blog, just starting, and I was clicking every where in my wordpress settings just getting familiar , I change my website name; Now I can’t access my blog and I want to launch it sunday night/ Every time I try to access it says: google can’t find it. My blog link was check-our-style.uphero.com and I change to check-our-style.com! Anyone?

Change the urls back. See Changing_The_Site_URL for details of how to do this correctly without logging in.
