Social Sharing Buttons and Google Calendar

    Hi,

    You should be able to use one of the many social sharing plugins for WordPress – you’d just need to make sure it works with custom post types.

    Events can be added to Google Calendar using the iCal feed:
    http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/event-ical-feeds/

    Hi – thanks for your quick reply. I looked at the iCal feed info and tried to add #_EVENTICALLINK at the bottom of my event page but it just stays as it is and doesn’t create a button – what am I doing wrong? Sorry – I’m completely new to all this!

    did you add it under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events > Default single event format ?

    Thank you! Was adding it in completely the wrong place – works great now.
