Huge & sudden change in the number of followers

??Can’t easily find where the WordPress version is displayed??

Anyway, as of this morning my blog Learning from Dogs was indicating 936 followers; it has been steadily growing for a long time.

Then around 11am PDT, I noticed that the number of followers had dropped to 741? That’s still the figure showing.

That doesn’t make any sense.

What’s happened?
