Translation not working

    I am using wordpress 3.8.1 with Swift Basic theme. The translation is not working, even though all the necessary files are ok.

    Here is my wp-content/themes/swift-basic/languages directory contents:
    ├── default.mo
    ├── default.po
    ├── pt_BR.mo
    └── pt_BR.po

    The default.mo and default.po came with the theme. I tried to remove them, but it still didn’t work.

    In my wp-config.php I put:
    define(‘WPLANG’, ‘pt_BR’);

    What could be wrong?

    Ok. I solved it

    The problem was with some strings that were written in English on the Swift Admin Panel. Tha tranlstation ins OK now.
