Twentyfourteen 'featured' Tags for Custom Post-Type

    Hey there,

    i’ve been building a new Website with the latest WordPress Theme Twentyfourteen.

    I’ve added own custom post types with own categorys and for sure, own tags.
    Now i added some Posts to my custom post type and gave them the tag “featured”.
    but the posts didnt appear on my homepage. If i add a few “normal” posts and tag them with featured it works finde.

    Does anyone know how it works? Is it possible? Where do i have to change the code?
